The company was founded by a mixture of asbestos removal contractors and asbestos assessors to provide high quality asbestos removal services at a competitive price.
Our staff have over 50 years’ experience in the asbestos industry and have worked on small residential asbestos removal projects through to large scale industrial asbestos removal projects throughout Australia.
Our dedicated team of experienced, licensed professionals complete their work with safety being the first priority.
At Glade Group, we consider the Australian Government endorsed Code of Practice and Regulations to be the minimum standard and aim to go above and beyond these standards whilst delivering a time and cost efficent service.
LICENSES & ACCREDITATIONS
Glade Group has an ACT Class A asbestos removal licence (Licence Number: ARA00006) and is able to remove both friable and non-friable (commonly referred to as bonded). The recent harmonisation of Health and Safety Regulations between the States and Territories means that this licence is suitable for Glade Group to undertake works across Australia.
Glade Group has successfully achieved accreditation for its Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS18001), Quality Management System (ISO9001) and its Environmental Management System (ISO14001).

ASBESTOS REMOVAL PROJECTS
Glade Group is a Class A asbestos removal company licensed to provide asbestos removal and remediation services in the ACT, NSW and QLD. We specialize in friable and non-friable asbestos removal, from small amounts volumes of non-friable asbestos from a residential property through to large friable asbestos removal projects on commercial and government sites, no job is too big or too small.

AIR MONITORING & CLEARANCE
During friable removal asbestos works it is a requirement that Air Monitoring is undertaken to assess for the presence of respirable fibres in the areas surrounding the asbestos removal works. Glade Group can arrange, on your behalf, for an independent licensed asbestos assessor to undertake the air monitoring. The air monitoring filters must be analysis by a National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) Laboratory.
Air monitoring should also be considered when undertaking non-friable asbestos removal works, particularly in public areas such as schools or office buildings.
ASBESTOS TESTING
Glade Group can arrange for a licensed asbestos assessor to undertake any asbestos assessing services. From assessing single walls in a home bathroom to large scale industrial site surveys no job is too big or too small for Glade Group.
Don’t take the risk, if you are unsure if a material contains asbestos have the material checked by a licensed Assessor.

George is a highly experience and skilled asbestos removalist and supervisor. He has managed both residential and commercial asbestos removal projects for many years. He is highly respected within the industry for his work-ethic, quality of service and friendly manner. He has also been responsible for the practical development of many asbestos removalists throughout the ACT region and has a real passion to improve the standards within the asbestos removal industry.
